Highly skilled at motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcement of concepts through interactive classroom instruction and observation. I see myself as an educator, not just a teacher. I encourage students to question their actions, the way that others live, and how we can use our knowledge to question the choices we make. In addition to planning and delivery of quality teaching in physical and virtual settings, I am experienced in administering and evaluating assessments in preparation for examinations and also helping students in extra-curricular activities. I joined Aster Public School in 2005 as a PRT but with my hard work, sincerity and dedication to my profession, I have risen to a position of Senior Coordinator and HOD Science, which I think is commendable. I have a total teaching experience of 23 years as a TGT Mathematics in the teaching industry. I have spent 17 of these 23 years working for Aster Institutions. I currently teach classes 6th to 8th Mathematics. I have a graduation as well as a postgraduate degree in Commerce. I also have a B.Ed (Professional) degree in Commerce. I had also pursued the Computer fundamentals program at NIIT technologies in the year 1999 and successfully completed it. I have been the Examination incharge for Aster Public School, Mayur Vihar for the last 7 years. Along with examination, I am currently also assigned the role of house incharge for the Nilgiri house. Myself Simmi Sharma. I am Hindi T.G.T in Aster Public School Mayur Vihar phase-1. I did my M.A. Hindi from IGNOU and B. Ed. Passed MDU in Hindi and Social Science subjects. for the last fifteen years I am a teacher of Hindi subject in Aster Public School, along with it I am the head of Hindi department (HOD). I have been on the post of examination in-charge from past few years. In extracurricular activities I have been directing many ‘Nukkad Natak' done by the students and have won many competitions. It has been 27 years of my learning and rearing the art of teaching. To me, Aster is a second home and I have lived both ups and downs of my life with this institution.
